DESPATCH & INVOICING
The despatch and invoicing module provides the ability to create delivery
dockets and to invoice the customer according to the orders placed on the system.
The system provides a flexible interface for despatch, whereby products can be grouped into packs,
and the packs grouped into larger shipping units. Alternatively, products can be simply packed into a
single shipment and shipped. The choice is yours.
The system also caters for customer specified packaging and grouping requirements (ie assorted shipments,
multiple drops, grouped shipments, etc) and allows invoices to either be sent to a separate billing
address or the same address as the delivery destination.
Invoices can be priced at many levels and the system allows invoices to be created on a 1 to 1 basis
with delivery notes, or to be created as a consolidation of multiple delivery notes. Products on the
invoice are defaulted from the customer but may be manually changed if desired. The same product can also
be shipped at different price levels; ie the first 100 units at a higher price than the next 100 units,
or B Grade sold at a 40% reduction, etc.
Arel does not provide a G/L accounting system, however we provide integration of all accounts receivable
and G/L information from invoicing to the accounting package of your choice. Integration of the delivery
information to 3rd party shipping companies, the production of Shipping Container Marks, shipment tracking
and consignment documentation is also optionally available.
