DYE HOUSE (& COATING)
The dye house is often the most critical area in the entire production cycle
and must be controlled and monitored with the greatest of care. Mistakes in dyeing or coating are often
irreversible and very costly and greatly impact the profit margin of orders. For this reason the Arel dye
house module has been designed to provide the easiest and simplest management of dyeing whilst
providing an extremely large and powerful management mechanism.
All dyes and chemicals used in the dyeing process are recorded in the system along with their costs,
minimum stock levels, safety information and other technical details.
The system manages dye recipes and dye baths (solutions into which dyestuffs are added) and allows
production recipes to be varied from the lab recipes to cater for variations in particular dyeing machines.
All recipes include instructions for the actual dyeing process that the operators must follow. These can
also be used as part of the dye program for the
Arel Dye House Controllers if you choose to have Arel controllers installed on your machines.
Dyeing can occur in either batch or continuous fashion and can be performed on cone yarn, warp yarn
or fabric with equal ease.
Arel provides a number of dye house automation products to assist in maintaining and managing a working
dye house. This includes machine control on the dyeing vessels, automated powder or liquid dispensing,
and computer assisted dye and chemical guided weighing for greater accuracy in production.
Integration with no Arel controllers or dispensers can be performed and has been done successfully on
a number of occasions, however this is usually dependant upon the extent to which the 3rd party allows
integration.
