GREIGE INSPECTION
Greige inspection can either occur in a simplistic manner or can be quite involved.
The level of inspection you require determines what is needed for the inspection process.
At a minimum, greige rolls are examined while they are still being produced and are graded by the
operator as soon as they are doffed.
For a more complete inspection process Arel provides a graphical inspection tool, linked to inspection
tables and tru-meter counters. Each roll can have multiple fault details recorded (point faults and
running faults) and can be split into separate rolls if required.
For more information please see the inspection tool.
