TRAINING & PERSONNEL
While not providing a HR (human resources) system or payroll system the
Training and Personnel system does provide you with a number of tools that can be used to integrate with
your HR and Payroll systems while providing valuable information to the various production system modules.
Examples of this include maintaining a record of skills and courses an employee has completed for use in
determining if an employee can operate a particular machine type. Companies that seek ISO compliance can
prevent employees working in a particular department (ie completing steps on production orders) unless
they have attained a particular skill or completed a particular course.
In terms of payroll integration, employees can be organised into groups, and information can be recorded
on the production orders a group or employee has worked on. This can be passed back to the payroll
system for bonus calculations, for example.
This module is quite flexible and can be customised to suit your particular needs.
